About me
Joshua Wilson Alas is a Filipino-American mangaka, comic book artist and illustrator based in the SF Bay Area who is best known for his work The Sketchbook.
He is a Los Angeles native who recently graduated from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts cum laude, Design Minor, Chinese Studies Minor, and Asian Studies Minor.
He collaborated with SF artist Jenifer K. Wofford on her Sushi Zone Mural and volunteered with Kimberley Arteche in setting up the Kalayaan exhibit at Kearny Street Workshop.
Joshua currently works as a freelance illustrator doing commissions for various clients from his home in Novato.
